Royal Robbins is a famous Yosemite Valley climber and river kayaker who, along with his wife Liz, founded their outdoor clothing company in the early 1980's. Their goal then as now was to create practical outdoor clothing, with performance fabrics that keep people comfortable whilst they were on the move.
