The women's Downtown Coat takes all of Mountain Hardwear's experience of keeping people comfortable in the worst conditions in the world and puts that into a fashionable jacket. The women's Downtown Coat is insulated with 650 (US) fill goose down that is incredibly warm and it is also long enough to go bellow your knee. This means that the jacket offers insulation to your body and most of your legs and is therefore hard to beat in terms of keeping out the cold. The jacket outer is made from a nylon outer that is durable and whilst not water proof, will keep out the wind effectively and is water resistant.
