The North Face Laptop Case is a computer bag with extra padding to protect vulnerable machines. The Case is a laptop sleeve that is zipped around the edges, not on the front or back. This zipper design allows better x-ray screening and transparency at airport security so you should not normally have to remove the laptop from the sleeve and can pass through security more quickly.
