The women's Cipher Hybrid Jacket from The North Face is an innovative windproof soft shell with added stretch panels for increased mobility and an athletic fit for any activity. The Gore Windstopper fabric greatly reduces windchill and is water resistant to a degree because of it has been DWR treated, however its real benefit lies in its breathability.
The Gore fabric is very breathable and coupled with this the hood and underarm side panels are made from Apex Aerobic soft shell fabric with 4 way stretch which gives even more breathability in these key areas and reduced bulk allowing more freedom of movement. What this means is that you can be highly active in this jacket and are less likely to overheat and if you do stop, quick chilling due to the wind will be reduced by the jackets great wind resistance. The adjustable hood features an elastic bound edge. The smooth reverse coil centre front zipper has an internal windflap and the brushed chin guard lining is soft next to the skin.
