Needless to say if you are looking for a lightweight trouser this is not it, but if you want something that will protect your lower half from almost anything look no further.

Durable softshell canvas fabric is backed up by extremely durable 4-way stretch FlexAble with a waterproof Ventex membrane on the seat, knees and instep. For an effective seal at the ankle, gaiter-style hooks and buckle adjustable cuffs are provided. Five generously sized pockets, three of which are zippered, provide ample carrying options. Zippered thigh vents help to release excess heat.
